The spirit of Coquitlam grant is a grant we received in grade 11 thanks to the aid of my father. This grant was for the beautification of inquiry hub. Originally it had budgeted for picnic area, mural and a fruit orchard. Unfortunately we did not get the funding for the orchard but we got funding for everything else.

The picnic table where a little difficult as the needed to be on top of cement to secure them. I had to come up with many drafts to try and find the best layout. In the end my dad and I picked the one that seemed best for the space we had. Not everyone was happy with the idea. But once It was installed people seemed to enjoy it. Especially the day the cement was poured where each student and teacher got the chance to put their hand print on it. Once the tables and benches where installed it was used as a another space students could hang out and even do work since there are tables now.  Its also a space for students to enjoy the garden.
