IHUB Reads year 2 was very similar to year 1 but everyone had to find a new book. Now those that have already participated had a better idea of what needed to happen. You had to analyses you book, find literary elements and make a trailer the you would be presenting in a circle where your book would be competing with other books.

My book for year 2 was Ruby Red. My book came in second here is some work from this year that I used to help my book last.

In this book you follow Gwyneth a 16 year old girl who lives in London with her family. Her family consist of her brother, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and cousin charlotte. Gwyneth has been told her whole life how good her cousin is at everything. Charlotte has been training her whole life and has been above Gwyneth because charlotte is the one from their generation who was supposed to have the time traveling gene that runs through their family, determined by your date of birth. When Gwyneth comes into the picture that all shatters. She needs to learn how to properly act in the different eras she would be traveling too. Which is an issue for Gwyneth especially when it comes to being a women in the 18 century and so on when she will no longer have the rights she has in the present. While guarding a secret that could get her assigned to an insane asylum, from everyone but her best friend who is a little different in the head than most. You also can’t forget about Gwyneth being hunted by another secret organization while losing her heart.
