IHUB Reads Began in Grade 9 and has continued through the year in various ways. In grade 9 each student would pick a book that they believed should be on I hub reading list. Everyone was supposed to pick the book based on literary elements, a good plot and that it contained good in-depth reading.

In grade 9 not all of these where met it was mostly people analyzing and showing off their favorite book. There was also a digital part to I hub reads. It was suggested that you write blog post pertaining to your book but the biggest part was the book trailer you had to create. There was issue with this as we found that most of the trailers where not as creative and as original as Mr. Soiseth had hoped.

In grade 10 the second year of IHUB reads Mr. Soiseth decided to follow that same guide lines but making the trailer guidelines more defined. I really enjoyed this version of IHUB reads you dint only get a preview to a whole bunch of books but part of I hub reads was to sell your book so that it would get voted in and hopefully be the winner.

After the first 2 IHUB reads Mr. Soiseth decided to change it up. For the third year of IHUB reads it changed to more of a book club reading group. Where you needed to multiple blog posts, iSearch project and a final project.
