My grade nine year 2012-2013. The first year of Inquiry Hub. Let’s start by saying there was no clear pathway to follow. It was a steep learning curve to adjust to this kind of school. I came from Millard middle wear I was the only one in my class that would you a laptop. To a place where everyone had one. I went from a school that had set block and bells. To inquiry hub where there where none. In my middle school I would sit in class trying to keep up with everything having due dates every day. Came to I hub where you worked on your course at your own pace managed your own homework. Speed through courses or take all the time you need with the workshop every day or so. The workshops where like classes but different the teacher would go over parts that we were having difficulty or make activities to do in class working in groups and gaining a deeper understanding.
